Remove invasive plants, spread mulch, and help prepare for native vegetation plantings at this work day hosted by Santa Clara County Parks Natural Resource Management team and the San Francisco Bay Bird Observatory as part of an effort to restore coastal habitat at Alviso Marina County Park.

Please bring sturdy gloves, closed toe shoes (boots if possible), proof of vaccination, and your can-do attitudes! The minimum age is 12 years old.

COVID-19 Protocols: Regardless of your vaccination status, do not attend a volunteer event if you are not feeling well or have been exposed to COVID-19. Vaccination verification will not be required for volunteer events like this that are outside and one-time or short-term in nature. If you wish to apply as a Long Term volunteer (18 and older), or volunteer working indoors, you will be required to show proof of vaccination and all boosters for which you are eligible. Alviso Marina County Park

A 20.6-acre park with pathways, boardwalks, a boat launch ramp and access to trails at the adjacent Don Edwards San Francisco Bay National Wildlife Refuge, the San Francisco Bay Trail and the San Francisco Bay Area Water Trail.
