Description
On September 9, 2025, as part of the 2024-25 Restoration Project Lunch and Learn Science Speaker Series, Josh Ackerman of USGS discussed trends in San Francisco Bay breeding waterbird populations, the impact of predation and pond restoration, and actions to support populations such as the design of new nesting islands, placing decoys and broadcasting bird calls to attract them, and hazing predators.
