More than 70 members of the Stakeholder Forum and the public participated in this periodic public meeting to inform and dialogue about the Restoration Project's latest construction work and science.
The event began with a half-hour pre-meeting mixer for casual conversation. The formal portion of the meeting took place from 9:30 a.m. to Noon, ending with an optional open house to allow time for remaining questions and comments.
The meeting offered an opportunity for members of the Stakeholder Forum and the public to learn about Phase 2 construction accomplishments in Alviso and Ravenswood; upcoming Ravenswood construction 2023 and 2024 events; plans for future Phase 2 habitat, public access, and flood management improvements in Alviso and Eden Landing; partner and collaborative projects including the South San Francisco Bay Shoreline Project and the Calabazas/San Tomas Aquino Creek-Marsh Connection Project; and Restoration Project science and funding updates. The meeting included presentations and discussion, as well as discussions in the pre-meeting informal mixer and the post-meeting optional open house.
